Tempi Hotel is a fantastic budget option with comfy beds and a great view of the Acropolis from the room. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and the location is ideal, surrounded by restaurants and shops while being within walking distance of main sites like the Archaeological Museum.

Fabulous location with a lovely street full of restaurants and shops. Super handy for the tube and Acropolis! Staff were kind enough to let us check in early and store our bags for free. Beds were comfy and the aircon worked great. Good value for a couple of nights!

They have very nice front of the house staff members, and a perfect location which is close to the metro. My room is simple, clean and well maintained. They kindly allowed me to store my suitcase for half a day before I catch my ferry to the islands, even though I wasn't even staying there until three days later. They also pointed me to their own travel agency, which helped me book my ferry ticket without service fee.
Carrying the suitcase up the stairs!

Personnel, leaking showers. We booked a double bed, two separate beds...

Amazing location but steep climbs
The hotel is strategically placed in the heart of Athens. Staff were consistently great throughout my stay.
I found the stairs to be quite a workout. The shared facilities might not suit everyone's preference.

very clean, staff very helpful at all levels, excellent location for transport and interesting parts of the city. The hotel offers free wifi, which is very important to me.
I liked everything, but it is not exactly luxurious, so others might not. It is wonderful value for m9ney

I almost gave this place a good review, but those sandy floors, and the lack of a shower head hanger were good. As if that wasn't enough, i expected a welcome gift for enduring those issues, but received nothing instead. Very disappointing, i thought they cared more than that.

location is convenient. Room is clean. For your money, good option.
It's a small room, but it's okay to stay overnight.

The lady at the reception was exceptionally friendly. She gave me a map, explained everything to me (metro, hours of operation of attractions, etc). The man afterwards was more grumpy. I liked how they had air conditioning and low prices.
The cleanliness was not optimum. The room was very small and the common areas not so good. They said they had wifi but I could not catch the signal in my room. There is no lift so be fit !

Consider requesting a room on a lower floor if you're not keen on climbing stairs frequently.

I appreciated excellent location of this hotel.
Everything was perfect here - super friendly staff and well-equipped rooms. My room included central heating, an iron and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. There's nothing too much trouble, had a nice stay for three nights.
